As the CEO of Fuel OKC, Brent is passionate about providing all students with quality public school options. Before joining Fuel OKC, he spent a decade leading the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center, an education nonprofit supporting public schools across the state.

Brent and his wife Kirsten are the proud parents of two daughters currently attending public school in Edmond. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and giving back to the community through his service on a number of nonprofit boards including the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma, the Oklahoma School of Science and Math and the Statewide Independent Living Commission. 

Brent holds a master’s degree in public administration from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political theory and constitutional democracy from Michigan State University. 

Through his dedication to public education and community involvement, Brent is committed to improving academic outcomes for Oklahoma City students.
